PERTH

 

graduated from the university of western australia,  ba double major in philosophy and linguistics.

 

some years before that, made more coins, this time for the gold corporation and the perth mint.

created numerous coins with different stories, from merylin monroe for wanuatu,to australian flora and fauna, to buddha and buddhist monks and king rama of the Thai royal family and  my favourite shiva and quan-yin medallions 

 

commissioned by the western australian museum to make a 60 cm large replica of a locust in painted fiberglass for the discovery centre project.

 

studied stone lithography for one term at the claremont school of art, and later studied lithography at the edith cowan university as an external unit of the uwa course.

 

inspired by interesting people, both staff and students, while working as an art instructor for students with mental disorders at the ' creative expression' unit of the graylands hospital.

​

worked on  sculptures and occasionally assisted with casting bronze at j- shed sculpture studio and foundry.

 

exhibited  prints and sculptures at the gomboc gallery.

 

participated with  drawings and small objects in a group exhibition at eric car studio.
